Terrible service - 20plus years of customer loyalty

Waiting almost 3 weeks for a part. Stuck between a *** contest with Fred beans lincoln and lincoln corporate.

No one wants to help and Fred Beans refuses to provide a loaner.

Still no ETA on the part. However I can find other dealers in other states that have it in stock.

Very unhappy how I was treated at Fred beans, Ford and Doylestown PA by the salesman Jake Feldman

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I purchased a 2021 Lincoln navigator from Fred beans Ford industrial PA. My salesmans name was Jake Feldman and I am very unhappy on how he has treated me throughout the whole transaction as a consumer.

I and my family have been dealing with Fred beans for over 40 years and I referred many people to Fred beans passed. Im fortunate because of the way I was treated by salesman, Jake told me and I will no longer refer Fred beans Kia anyone. Salesman Jake Feldman was deceptive throughout The entire transaction. He miss calculated the cost in his favor and told me window edge fee was mandatory where it is a violation of the federal trade commission for deception and not mandatory.

He also told me the missing engine cover was no longer made for Lincoln navigators year 2021 on up, which was also deceptive iPhone we had to go and find one online from another dealer, then he wanted me to pay to have them install it which was part of the deal included per sales contract. Also, they did not complete the detailing of the car for sales contract, and when I told him he told me I would have to pay additional to have the engine compartment cleaned. Also, the carpets piled up in the back storage area that I witnessed the day before the sale agreement were missing when I pick the car up. and Jake Feldman told me I would have to purchase new carpets .

I had to go over his head, and that was another war story. However, I would not recommend Fred beans N because of this shady trans action.

If a manager calls and assures me, Jake Feldman is no longer working there. I may reconsider until then I do not recommend Fred beans website ever.

Deceptive practices by salesman, Jake Feldman, at Fred beans Ford Doylestown PA

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I am completely dissatisfied with the way I was treated from a sales man by the name of Jake Feldman Doylestown, PA Ford. Originally charge me more than the asking price when I corrected his mistake he gave excuses then try to charge me $299.for window.

Vin etching fee, where he said it was mandatory which is a violation of the federal trade commission under deception, and he also said the missing Engine cover was no longer being made by Lincoln and the manufacturer do not put them on cars 2021 on up which was also deceptive when I picked up the car it was still missing per our sales agreement shouldve been included I had to go and find one from another dealership and fight tooth and nail to get them to pay for it. After I received engine cover, they would not install it. They said they would be an extra charge. Also, they did not.

Detail the engine compartment her their used car protocol and salesman. Jake Feldman said that would be an additional charge as well.

Also, when I witnessed the day before the sale carpets piled up in the back storage area on the day, I picked up the car noticed they were missing and again Jake sales and said I would have to pay for new carpets if I wanted them. I will never do business with Fred beans, normal family, or referral them unless sales man Jake Feldman is reprimanded for his deception.

I just purchased a brand new MDX from Fred Beans of Jenkintown and told them I didn't want any other add-ons. I just reviewed the sales agreement and they added Silent Security for $299.00.

I don't know what Silent Security is and was never told what Silent Security does.

They just added it to the sales agreement! They are sneaky and underhanded!

Financial ripoff

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I have bought five Sonatas from Fred Beans Doylestown over the last 20 years and never had a problem. However, I recently bought a 2024 Hyundai from there and felt cheated on financing.

Despite having a credit rating of over 810, I wasn't offered Hyundai financing. They opted for a bank that gave us a 7.5% rate and Beans added an extra 0.5% to make it 8%. This was not disclosed to us. I was also told that I couldn't make a 10k cash down payment as the bank wouldn't allow it.

I had planned to trade in my wife's Sonata for a new one, but now, I'll never return. I also can't recommend them to anyone for purchases. I have posted negative reviews on any review sites that I could find and am filing a complaint with the BBB as well. Their finance manager is very slippery in a bad way, so I advise not to buy from Fred Beans Doylestown.

They don't care about their customers, their focus is merely on their profits. It's disgraceful.

Patrick the sales manager at Fred Beans Ford Langhorne does not want to do his job when there is unfinished business. He makes weird faces when he gets angry and tries to intimidate people.

Tell him he does not want to help and he will tell you to leave.

I have had many good Ford vehicles, but I wont deal with him again. Buy it at another Ford Dealer this guy is in it for the money.

Patrick the sales manager at Fred Beans Ford Langhorne does not want to help. He gets made when you tell him that, which is kind of funny because he makes these crazy eyes at you and tries to intimidate with his 5 foot tall stature.

Then tells you to leave because he's the Big man.

Buy a Ford at a different dealer. This one is in it for the money.

Need help

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Hate Fred beans almost died last night because they didnt fix my transmission, the manager at Langhorne location John, argued with me instead of helping. Told me a rental car is $250 deposit and $45 a day, when I asked for a rental at my first appointment they said they didnt have any cars.

He also is trying to say they cant predict future problems but it was one of the problems I brought it in for on Feb 7th just to get my car 5 days later and no work was done on it and the part I said yes to fix, they never ordered it not until 3 days later and couldnt even give me a call to let me know like we agreed to, I had to drive back up a week later to find out the part came in. Then he doesnt have any available appointments until March 18th and comes back around full circle to me almost dying last night because my car was stuck in 4th gear.

This is the 4th time my cars TCM (transmission control Module) failed . Ford extended the warrenty coverage,Customer Satisfaction Program (Recall) which caused my battery to fail as well.

My car wouldn't shift and when you try to stop it keeps jumping forward I almost hit car in front of me . I received rental and approval from Ford to replace Battery and rental. Get a call car almost caught fire jumping it, they must replace battery to complete work. Battery $401 + Rental will be $1400 .Demand me to Return rental they wont give me my car until I pay $1400.I don't have $1400.

Lisa lied to Ford and Paul manager said car done since the 10th and they claim battery unrelated not covered!Service Manager said you dont know anything about cars your car is old pay $1400 then you can have your car and hung up on me!!!! Lying Condescending Missleading Assitant Service Manager Lisa, Paul Service Manager needs to be taught better Verbiage! Said no more Tit for Tat hes done to me! Should be reminded working for a Family owned Dealership Customer Service is Expected!

Disrespecting Customers is Unacceptable!

I will never ever deal with Fred Beans again!! I will make sure to post on social media my experience with the Ford Service Management at Fred Beans Langhorne.

Hello all! I am in need of the email addresses of Chris Gilbert CEO/President and the VP Beth Gilbert of Fred Beans dealership.

The issues I'm having are far beyond the pay grade of anyone on their payroll. Does anyone have this? I know that the general format is employee first initial and last name, followed by @***.com for their employees, but it may be different for the executive level.

Just looking for someone to confirm the exact email address for the CEO and also the vice president if possible. Thanks in advance for your help!

After paying a significant amount of money to purchase my truck outright just a few months ago, I am very disappointed in the quality of this vehicle

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Shoddy sign and out the door type sales at the Langhorne, PA dealership. Immediately after the deal was closed, and they had my money, I immediately felt like a burden when I called to ask why I didn't receive the 2nd key?

They tried to tell me the vehicle only had one key? I had to insist they pay for a new one to be made. If I was male, I'm pretty sure I would have been treated very differently. Both times I looked at the vehicle, it was dark and appeared to look fine.

Upon closer inspection, I could see that the dash and doors had a lot of unsightly scrapes and nicks. I also discovered a decent size of black stripping on the roof was missing, along with a small chunk of truck bed spray was gouged out. I now do not feel like my vehicle truly received the 172 (or whatever) point inspection. I worry that this vehicle will have costly repairs sooner rather than later.

Oh, and the brakes have been squealing since I left the lot.

I have already had it in to be looked at twice.

Each time they have said that everything is fine. Will never buy from this outfit again.

Warranty pressures and overcharged for vehicle

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Original review updated Jul 26, 2022

Beware of extra charges and being pressured by finance manager for unnecessary warranty! I was told their Total Care Package was included in the price of the vehicle by the sales person and the finance manager.

Ok cool.

Sounds great.

Get downstairs to the finance dept, and Scott the finance manager would not take no for an answer on purchasing extra warranty coverage that took my monthly payment to almost $100 extra a month! He even went as far as insulting my intelligence by saying most people understand things go wrong with their cars when I repeatedly had to tell him No I did not want the extra warranty.

To top it off, I get home and go over the paperwork and notice I was charged $3000 extra for the car! I call Scott and question these extra charges, and guess what? That total care package I was told was included in the price of the car, was actually $1995 extra!

When I questioned and threatened to bring the car back, he offered compensation for the package.

These are tough times for everyone. To be intentionally ripped off while doing business with, what I thought was a reputable company is alarming.

I have purchased 5 of my last vehicles at Fred Beans. I will I longer be doing business with them.

Will update when they make good on their promise.
